Receiving Clerk
Reporting Analyst/Business Analyst

Receiving Clerk
Coordinate the Receiving and Storing of any and all materials necessary to meet the production requirements of our company’s sales demand. Handle all receiving required to support all other departments in the attainment of their own functional goals.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years experience working in a warehouse receiving environment.
  • Forklift Certification.
  • Computer/data entry experience required.
  • Proficient mathematical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the receipt of items by unloading and loading trucks, inspecting incoming/outgoing merchandise, matching purchase orders, packing slips, bill of landings and distributing and storing merchandise appropriately.
  • Read reports, requisitions to determine items to be received moved, gathered or distributed.
  • Move materials and items to receiving or storage areas for further inspection and release.
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence or standards.
  • Ensure warehouse is clean, orderly, accessible and safe at all times.
  • Mark materials received with the appropriate identifying information according to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Record amounts of materials items received and distributed as necessary.
  • Assist in counting of physical inventory as needed.
  • Assist warehouse department as directed by a supervisor or as needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and reach.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Reporting Analyst/Business Analyst
This position will primarily be responsible for creating a variety of ad hoc and standardized reports. You will meet with internal customers to define technical solutions to their business needs in regards to data extraction and reporting. Responsible also for day-to-day and project driven activities related to the support of business application systems.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or related field; or equivalent education and work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of relational database concepts needed, particularly SQL Server 2000 and 2005.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, functions and data manipulation required.
  • Experience with Crystal Reports, SSMS, SSRS preferred, but not essential.
  • Experience with Database Administration, ETL, Cubes or Data Warehousing an advantage.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server query optimization techniques.
  • Experience in supporting multiple heterogeneous applications a benefit.

  • Ability to demonstrate analytical skills and strengths in diagnosing complex problems, and implementing corrective action.

  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize task assignments to ensure established guidelines and/or deadlines are met.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with users, systems personnel, vendors, consultants, and management.
  • Knowledge of system development, project methodology practices and deliverables.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with all departments to provide all reporting demands to meet business needs.
  • Analyze current data management procedures, including reporting methods, and as necessary make recommendations for improvements.
  • Providing project estimates both high level and detail level.
  • Supports and maintains many business applications within the organization.
  • Involved with quantifying and analyzing business requirements, and defining functional system design.
