Although each of us possesses our own unique personal goals, it seems that recently we have all added a variety of health-related goals to the long list of aspirations we might have already had. It is often said that knowledge is power, but when it comes to health, it seems that knowledge has directly translated into even more responsibility - personal responsibility. Nowadays, with our emphasis on health and the awareness that many factors affect our ability to remain well, it seems that we all must add several health-related factors to our daily personal inventory. I have found that it is impractical to expect ourselves to carefully monitor all of these issues on a daily basis and that the only effective tool is a simple to use Daily Wellness Journal. It allows us to comfortably monitor what we do and look back to see why we find ourselves where we are.
So, whether your goals relate to changing your weight, cholesterol, blood sugar or blood pressure, it is safe to assume that you will be attempting to make improvements in your diet and lifestyle. The medical research is unequivocal that changes in the quality and quantity of what we consume (diet), along with changes in the things that we do (activity), will have an enormous impact on our health and wellness. It is also equally clear that the only effective way to manage the discipline, and thereafter to monitor these changes, is with some form of record keeping and accountability.
Let's see, in just two paragraphs, I have already used three of the most frightening words in the English language: Responsibility, Discipline and Accountability. Those concepts are often intimidating to someone new to a health program, particularly when used with a very rigorous and time-consuming daily health diary. The typical diary is a lot like a dreaded homework assignment, and often requires that you count the grams and calories of everything you eat and that you precisely calculate the nature and impact of your daily exercise. Instead, I created a very easy to complete Daily Page that basically allows you to evaluate what you have done simply and easily with terms or images we all understand, such as a smile or a frown. Most importantly, it allows you to record the critical aspect of any program - how you feel about what you are doing. In my mind, nothing is more important than how you evaluate your own actions and nothing will give you more insight about what you are doing than your own perceptions and feelings.
I am sorry if this is not your typical diary requiring that you track your weight and your blood levels of any number of factors, as well as document all the grams of fat, protein, simple and complex carbs, cholesterol, etc., let alone each and every calorie of potential activity you might have performed. It is my own personal view that those types of diaries are too much work and a bit insulting. Personally, not only will I rebel against the changes I need to make in my diet and lifestyle, but I will rebel against the diary itself. Moreover, only a small percentage of people can and will actually adhere to and work with that kind of time consuming and demanding diary consistently or long-term. Instead, my Daily Wellness Diary can be used easily by everyone, even those of you who are fortunate enough to have accomplished all your wellness goals, but merely would like to achieve a greater understanding of who you are and why you do what you do.
Over 2,000 years ago, someone very wise said that "even the longest journey begins beneath our feet." Accordingly, even the loftiest health and wellness goals start today - at the patient process that begins each day of our lives. It allows you to keep the process in perspective so you can remain focused on small, manageable daily goals, since no wellness program provides immediate results. Our Daily Wellness Journal helps keep you focused on the process by asking you to think about how you feel about what you are doing each day. As you record and often take time to review each day's events you can adjust your diet and lifestyle to better meet your daily and long-term goals.
It was another wise person who once said that "the lies we tell to others pale in comparison to the lies we tell ourselves." In other words, if you are not honest in your Wellness Journal, you only harm yourself by making your goals more difficult to achieve. This is your own private Wellness Journal and you cannot and will not benefit unless you are 100% truthful at all times regarding the facts you include and the way your feel each day about your actions. You are the most important person in your life and you deserve 100% honesty when it comes to issues that affect the quality of your health and life.
It is often said that "without our health we have nothing" and the process you engage with this Wellness Journal is intended to ensure that you proceed on a path of wonderful wellness.

I used to purchase this item from HSN, but they no longer carry it....their loss. Thank you Andrew, for continuing to offer this item for sale. I still have some left, but will order it here - when that supply runs out. It's great for logging down everything from your meals, water intake, A.L. supplements, activity, your mood, etc. Keep up the good work. Thanks again Andrew for this item and others, I'll continue to use your products for my health goals. :o)

I've been using this for a few months and I've found it very helpful and easy to use. It's useful to be able to look back and see patterns that I may not have been aware of. I've found I also tend to behave myself alittle better because I don't want to log that I ate chips and candy and didn't exercise that day. I do have a few suggestions though. In the negative diet area, I wish there was a pop circle. And I wish the positive area had a circle for herbal tea. At the risk of sounding dumb... what is the difference between beans and legumes? And please replace the unflattering picture on the back with a better one of our vitamin cutie.
