Andrew Lessman’s Digest Assure is a mild, all-natural food supplement designed to support and enhance your body’s natural digestive processes. I have now repeated my order three times. This product helps my system digest dairy and what little amounts of gluten I do have. My husband has been taking this supplement for about a month and right after a week he could see the difference Digest Assure made in his digestion - no more bloating or cramps after eating the heavy or fatty food, and after a meal he feels better, not as sleepy or tired. As for me I was told to find a supplement which would aid in food digestion, since I no longer have extra help from gallbladder (bile helps with digestion of fatty foods). Unfortunately for me, my husband consumed the whole bottle of this enzyme complex, so today I ordered 3 more bottles, just to make we have enough. My issue is when I eat, I get so bloated that I am very uncomfortable. Some may have thought I was expecting.. It seemed that my digestive system was very slow to "move things along". It could have been the smallest thing I ate too! This started to happen after I had abdominal surgery and my intestines were removed and then placed back after the surgical procedure. I decided to give this product a try and I am glad I did. My stomach does not blow up after I eat anymore! I take 2 capsules either right before my meal and right after I eat. It helps move things along. April will be one year that I have been using this product and I can't say enough good things about it. NO more Rx drugs for me! I cannot take any type of proton pump inhibitors (e.g. Prilosec, Nexium, Prevacid, etc. I was suffering for months before we realized the side effects I was experiencing came from the above medications. I had to have a stomach scan where they test the progress of your digestion. It’s similar to a MRI but it’s done on your stomach. My results were bad, and because I could not take any of the meds listed above, my doctor wanted to try some drug that is not even approved here in the USA but was in Canada. Of course I would not even consider that. One day I was looking at Andrew's presentation on HSN and it was on his Digest Assure and I can truly say, this supplement is a GODSEND to me---I cannot ever be without this product. I've NEVER had any type of side effects from taking this!! I started taking Digest Assure, and went back to my Gastroenterologist for test results follow up. He was amazed and could not believe how my digestion had improved. I informed him that I did NOT get his prescription filled, instead I was taking Digest Assure, I handed him a copy of what was in the product and he was amazed and made statement: " WOW!!!.....I may need to suggest this product to my other patients"!!! He could not believe the great test results, how much my digestion had improved and I had no complaints of Acid Reflux. I've had a total of three (3) stomach scans and (according to my doctor), my digestion is in normal range, and I no longer experience Acid Reflux anymore as long as I take this product as directed. Trust me, individual results will apply to each person because we all are different. But I had to share with everyone how much this product has helped me !!! Just putting this out there for your knowledge and if you are or were in a similar situation that I was in, please print the ingredients and take it to your doctor for consideration. Became an "accidental vegetarian", began a structured workout schedule, and just plain made many changes to becoming a better human being. With the much healthier diet came increased stress of my stomach and digestion. I had been taking Digest Assure for a year prior, and it helped then. But with all the fresh foods I was eating, I began having issues in the bathroom. I learned that there are times when 2 capsules are necessary, but only during those times when you know from experience that food irritations flare up. If you have that "flare up" multiple times a day, you will most likely need to take a serious look at your diet. I have been using Digest Assure for 2 years now, and I will not live without it! I have TMAU which is a rare metabolic disorder. My body produces a foul odor because my digest can't break down food properly. These supplements actually made the odor disapear so I can eat what ever I want and it helps digest it properly. I view these as a miracle since there is no cure for my condition. I have had IBS for years and noticed a huge improvement in my IBS symptoms. I was regular, no bloating, no pain. I didn't realize it was this product until I ran out and all of my symptoms came back. I had some left in my office and when I took them within hours my symptoms once again improved. Who would have thought after years of suffering with IBS I would find something that helps so much. Six months ago the product was withdrawn due to motility of the digestive system. Needless to say I was one of the lucky ones that did not have any reaction but I still had all the symptoms. I tried some chewable papaya enzyme from a health food store, no luck. I saw this, ordered it and became regular again. I thought to myself that I must not have any digestive problems, until I ran out. Once again, I tried a digestive enzyme from our local farmers market, magnesium supplements and Milk of Magnesia, no luck. I ordered this product again and when I received it I took one with my dinner that night. The next morning, no lie, I was regular once again! It works wonderfully! I am lactose intolerant and am able to eat dairy without distress for the first time in years. Also, I suffered for years with gas and indigestion from other foods, but could not pinpoint the others. I had a myriad of medical tests done, which showed nothing except the lactose intolerance. Now, I only have trouble when I forget to take my "Digest Assure". I use several of Andrew's products and would recommend them all, but this is far and away the best one I have tried so far. Sincerely, this product has helped me in the most important activity of my life which is a healthy diet. Recently I did have an illness that motivated me to buy this product. It helps me eat a full meal without discomfort. I am more regular. You don't need to be ill for this product to work. I am a researcher like Andrew and I sold herbal products in 1973 through 1977. Everyone is busy. We forget the most important issues of living like healthy food and the time to digest it properly. It doesn't take long to notice the wonderful help Digest Assure gives you.
