I ran out one time and tried to do my workout--I lasted on 30 minutes on the treadmill--I just caved. Couldn't believe the difference it made and learned my lesson. Lap-band, self-injections, adapex, and bontril. Nothing worked. My metabolism is in the negative. If I want to be a functioning and productive person, this is a MUST. I can't believe or understand how it is better than the adapex or bontril, but for me it is! I can actually feel my temperature rising around 45 min to an hour after taking it. If I am active with it like I am supposed to be, I can lose weight more easily. If I run out of E&F, it's like coming off of caffeine, a withdrawal of sorts. I can't hardly move or function. It is a MUST for me. My body just needs this. I still have this "jittery" or "kind of hyped" feeling. And i only took ONE just ONE of these capsules. I took it before my morning anaerobic workout, then i went to work, did an 8 hour shift of 90% being on foot/walking. But it seems that even after work, I still had quite a bit of energy left, so i did an aerobic workout afterwards. Man, it seemed people couldn't get out of my way fast enough, or even i couldn't move fast enough. I did that aerobic workout, stayed up pretty much the rest of the night. slept a few hours, and here I am typing - 24 hours later - with that strange buzz/jittery feeling going on. I have tried many and have not had bad experiences... until this one. I just took one of these about an hour ago and I'm jittery and don't like this feeling at all. Now, it is probably doing exactly what it is supposed to do in order to increase metabolism), but I don't like the feeling. I LOVE the CarniSlim and the Body Fuel - both are excellent and can be taken on an empty stomach with no "jitters", but this is a bit much for me. I am very sensitive to medications and apparently energy supplements. When I showed the Cardiologist the ingredients, he stated that the green tea, with its caffeine could be a contributing factor. My research on the internet revealed that the Guarana and Ginseng could also affect the heart rate. Of course, I was put on a medication, but I had to stop taking the Energy and Fat Metabolism Factors. I'll give it 4 stars because it really worked, but the warning about the caffeine and related ingredients should be pointed out more clearly. I actually joined one of those bulk shopping clubs to buy as many energy drinks as I could for the cheapest price per drink. I've been using this product since January. I haven't had an energy drink since February. I feel great! I wasn't a morning person, and I absolutely HATED working out first thing in the morning. I keep these little bursts of energy by my bed with a bottle of water beside my bed. I take one before I get out bed, immediately dress, and head to the gym by 5:30 am. I've lost 23 lbs! My dad referred me to this product and I could not believe the effects on this. I had on going energy all day with just one pill and I have no side effects. Besides the energy I have lost some weight. I went from a size 12 to a size 10 in about 3 months and I feel great! There is no magic - you can't take this and sit on the couch, but if you are using this in conjunction with exercise you will see and feel the difference. I am amazed at how much energy I have when working out and am sorry that I've had the product so long before taking it. I had a baby back in March 2008. I have also had hypothyroidism (low thyroid levels) for about 11 years so it is always a constant struggle to keep my weight down. I was dieting & exercising like crazy after my daughter was born and I could not get the last 15 pounds off UNTIL I got this product. About 3 months after taking this product, I am at the lowest weight I have been at in several years and I feel GREAT!! I have more energy during the day too! The results were pretty surprising to me. I had a nice solid energy level the whole way through my 70-minute (pretty intense) workout. I wasn't timing myself but it seemed like I didn't need to rest as long between sets as I normally do, either. That sense of well-being that everyone talks about is really phenomenal. All of us think they work really well for energy. I have never been able to take any sort of energy tab without feeling jittery or sick to my stomach, but this one is wonderful. Goes to work in about 15 minutes! My only complaint would be that it doesn't control my appetite!! Perhaps it's just me, since I tend to think about food alot! Thanks for such a great product! However, I do find that it does suppress my appetite a bit, so that is an added benefit. The energy effects are just fantastic. It won't make up for total sleep deprivation, but it certainly does eliminate that 'dragging in the morning, can't get your day started' slump. I pop two of these every morning and within a half an hour I am feeling energized and alive. The label talks about a feeling of well being, and I am definitely getting that. It's like this happy little legal high, somewhat like drinking Starbucks, but without the jitteriness and irritability. It's hard to describe but I just have this euphoric feeling of well being and I can concentrate and enjoy my work more. I am really enjoying this! Then in the middle of the afternoon I take one 'Urgent Energy' capsule, and that fights off the 'mid afternoon slump' thing very effectively as well. So I would have to say that so far I am very impressed with the effectiveness of this supplement, it has made a very positive impact on my daily life and my ability to enjoy my day with sustainable energy and concentration. It also motivates me to try to eat more reasonably in the afternoon and evening. Btw, I gave two to my wife one day and she was literally bouncing off the walls so now she just takes one each day and she loves the benefits also. there's clearly something very good in these capsules! I have put back on 10 lbs since I stopped taking these vitamins at the beginning of 09'. Could not find them on HSN, so I thought I would look at AL's website. Glad to know these were not discontinued. This does help curb the appetite and keep me from overeating throughout the day. I thought I better get back on these before my weight gets out of hand again. I work out at least 6 times a week, however I stopped eating right and the weight is creeping back up on my body. This does not solve the problem however it does give a little advantage by upping your energy level and making you exercise a little harder and longer. It works for me.
