We make everything ourselves
One simple fact separates us from most of our industry: we don’t outsource.
Most supplement brands are primarily marketing companies. They design a label, hire a contract manufacturer to fill the bottle and then never touch what goes inside it.
That’s not how we built ProCaps Laboratories.
Every product we sell is made by us, in our own facility — never overseas or handed off to strangers.
We control every step, from careful formulation, sourcing of the highest-quality raw materials, the manufacturing, bottling and packaging, plus the verification and testing that confirms what we made is exactly what we intended.
When someone else makes your product, quality is something you request and hope arrives. But making it ourselves means quality is something we can see on the floor, measure in our own lab and stand behind personally.
Capsules, never tablets
Capsules are used to deliver purity. Tablets are used for looks and manufacturing convenience.
A tablet has to be compressed. To force a powder into a hard, stable shape that survives shipping and handling, you need glues to bind it, fillers to give it bulk, and coatings to hold it together. Because a tablet is a compressed, solid mass, it can pass through the digestive system incompletely dissolved and unabsorbed.
A capsule needs none of that. Our capsules contain only the intended nutrients.
Two-piece capsules
Only the nutrients on the label, in a fine, pure powder that disperses when the capsule opens.
Softgel capsules
Oil and only what’s necessary for stability and protection from the elements, so nutrients are delivered intact in a form your body can use.
Science, not marketing
Most of the decisions that make a supplement work happen long before anyone writes a label. What nutrient form is used? At what dose? These are biochemical questions, and we answer them accordingly.
We start with how a nutrient is absorbed, transported and put to work, and let that determine the form and dose we use.
We always choose bioactive forms. For each nutrient, there’s often a form the body can absorb and use directly, and a cheaper or more convenient form it can’t use nearly as well. We choose the best option, even if it costs more.
Purity that’s verifiable
Purity is easy to claim and hard to prove. Ours is built in, tested and documented at every step.
- 1 Before a raw material is ever cleared for use, it arrives with a Certificate of Analysis documenting its identity and purity.
- 2 Our own quality control team independently confirms the raw material purity and potency.
- 3 Throughout production, capsules are inspected and bottles are sampled.
